Pre school

Our preschool rooms cater for children from 2 years and 9 months – approximately 5 years. The adult child ratio in the preschool room is 1:11 (sessional) and 1:8 (full day care).

We have two options in our preschool rooms:

1. Sessional ECCE service-children avail of the free preschool year funded by the government. The service runs for 38 weeks of the year and operates from 9am-12pm 5 days a week. 2. Full day care service-children avail of the full day care service while the ECCE subvention is deducted from their weekly fee. This runs over a 51 week period. 

Montessori, Aistear and Siolta curriculums are incorporated into all preschool rooms. 

Our Pre-School rooms aim to provide an exciting and safe environment which encourages your child to become an active learner. Our emphasis is on informal learning through play and language development. Using Early Childhood Education techniques children’s language, literacy and numeracy skills will be utilised all the while enjoying the fun of arts, crafts, sensory play, dress up, construction, role play, and outdoor play.
